Our R-LNG Process hosts proprietary technologies that can be provided separately to our clients depending on their project objectives.
The Integrated Landfill Gas Production System is one of these technologies. This system targets landfill gas capture and measurement to improve gas yield and landfill gas quality. By producing premium methane gas, you can supply any renewable processing plant with a low carbon footprint feedstock.
Our Integrated Landfill Gas Production System includes three proprietary technologies:
1 – Landfill gas capture and measurement
This system continuously pre-treats raw multiphase streams associated with landfill gas extraction. It allows both leachate management and landfill gas quality control. This innovation was awarded with a Canadian Green Technologies Patent #2 766 355 in November 2012 and a United States Patent # 9 023 131 in February 2015.
2 – Leachate reinjection
This system performs leachate reinjection through specific conduits connected to infiltration trenches. It allows conditioning of the leachate prior to reinjection in the waste to insure steady landfill gas yield over project duration.
3 – Adapted flare
This system was specifically developed for Waste-to-Energy projects that run 24/7 without the need to flare excess landfill gas for a long period. It’s innovative, compact and weather tight design eliminates the need to shut down your project to restart your flare after several months of downtime. When operating, this system offers an extremely high turndown ratio of 20:1. This gas flare system was awarded with a Canadian Green Technologies Patent #2 808 707 in February 2014.
When deployed in tandem, the Integrated Landfill Gas Production System enables you to operate your landfill site as a bioreactor to favor landfill gas yield and quality over your project duration.
